Where Is The Best Birch Trees - Lady Of Woods - Wall Art Display?

“When I can go just where I want to go, There is a copse of birch trees that I know; And, as in Eden Adam walked with God, When in that quiet aisle my feet have trod I have found peace among the silver trees, Known comfort in the cool kiss of the breeze Heard music in its whisper, and have known Most certainly that I was not alone!” -  Andrew Greeley

Birch tree is called the Lady of Woods – Why?

The shade of the bark of the birch trees is exceptional - it helps me to remember modesty, pride and obviously finesses of a woman. That could be the justification for why birch trees are alleged as elegant. They are thin, yet going the distance, persistence and perseverance - all through snow, harvest time and winter.

Samuel Coleridge, an extraordinary p writer of the time of Romanticism calls birch trees the most delightful tree of the forests and addresses birch tree as a ‘Lady of Woods'.

Scientific Name of Birch Tree and Birch Tree Habitat

Scientific name of birch tree is genus Betula, family Betulaceae which is a deciduous tree that belongs to phylum Tracheophyta.

According to brittanica.com (https://www.britannica.com/plant/birch) , the starting points of birch trees are distributed all through the coolest areas in the Northern Hemisphere.

When we view the birch trees in autumn and winter or spring - they are filled with leaves in spring or totally leafless in fall or almost dead-like yet they extremely reflect the scenic beauty of landscape.

How do we place Birch trees on our garden?

When we birch trees on small gardens, we have to place it on the center of our garden by which it adds extraordinary scenic beauty to our garden.

Birch Trees Poems – my favorite ones.

Below two poems, I found written by Geri Halliwell and Walter Prichard Eaton – when I read these two poems and the poem of Robert Frost, I couldn’t agree more with these awesome and inspiring poems on birch trees.

The Birches by Walter Prichard Eaton

The little birches, white and slim,
Gleaming in the forest dim,
Must think the day is almost gone,
for each one has her nightie on.

By Lucy Larcom

Swinging on a birch-tree
To a sleepy tune,
Hummed by all the breezes
In the month of June!
Little leaves a-flutter
Sound like dancing drops
Of a Brook on pebbles,—
Song that never stops.

There are a lot of life lessons to learn from the birch trees. And, that keeps me with deep contemplation and love for the scenic beauty and worthiness of the birch trees.

Symbolism of Birch trees

Birch trees symbolize regeneration, hope, beginnings and a tree of renewal and purification.

I wind with a quote from Geri Halliwell:

“I’ve got an image of me at the bottom of my garden sitting under my silver birch tree reading, while everyone else had gone somewhere exotic.” - Geri Halliwell
